Other Projects - Golden Sands
Gold Road Resources' 100%-owned Golden Sands project is located about 25km north of AngloGold-Ashanti / Independence's Tropicana deposit and covers ~1,500km2 with a strike length of about 65kms.
The Golden Sands project is considered highly prospective for gold and uranium mineralisation.
Gold anomalism is known at the Augusta and Bluebell prospects at the northern end of the Golden Sands tenements within the Yamarna shear zone. Golden Sands is located in the south western portion of the Gunbarrel Basin which also hosts the Mulga Rock uranium deposit.
